Beaverton Motorcycles is looking for friendly and outgoing powersports enthusiasts to work as Warranty Specialists for our multi-brand dealership. "What Can We Do For You Today" mentality is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in powersports and motorcycles, and at least three years’ experience working as a Warranty Specialist in a large dealership. We are one of the industry leaders in sales and service for KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Beta, Kawasaki, Honda and more. Position is Full time, Tuesday - Saturday, 9a - 6p.

Primary role will be to administer warranty claims that are received in relation to our products. You will handle the claim, assess them to assure compliance with the rules of the warranty, and make decisions as to whether the work is carried out under the warranty requirements.

There are certain in-house systems for processing claims that will need to be learned. Preference will be given to those who have Lightspeed experience. Most of the work will be computer based, writing letters and communicating with our customers and manufacturers about warranty claims.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WARRANTY SPECIALIST MAY LOOK LIKE THIS:

Primary point of contact for those who have sent in claims

Assess and organize, complete paperwork pertaining to claims

Ensure correct filing and storage of paperwork and records for future needs

Direct reporting and contact with accounting team (Business Office) to ensure payment is received for any work commissioned

Primary contact with service/technical team (Technicians and/or Advisors) to schedule work carried out as part of a claim

Arrange for delivery of parts or replacement items if a claim requires it

Scheduling service and repair appointments

Stay current on company news and policies to ensure claims are assessed along the correct lines

THINGS YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Advanced computer and customer service skills are a distinct benefit as they are important elements of warranty work

Training on in-house systems and processes will be available, candidate must show a willingness and ability to learn; Lightspeed CRM experience will place you at the head of the class

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

Diplomacy and tact

Patience and discipline to work to set rules and parameters

Organizational ability

Specific industry knowledge – KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Beta, Kawasaki, Honda and more

Basic English literacy and verbal/written communication skills are essential

Professional and strong communication, reasoning and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; always on, friendly, patient, and curious

Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Significant attention to detail

Ability to adjust work flow quickly and smoothly

Proven history of resilience

Outstanding customer and co-worker service skills

A strong work ethic and professional demeanor

Mature actions with regards to attendance, punctuality and meeting deadlines
